Rose Marie O'bien
Co-Founder, Little Feet and Friends
Rosie Obien, born in Baguio and raised in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, survived a serious childhood illness at age 2, leading her mother to dedicate her to God’s service.
This sparked Rosie’s lifelong passion for ministry. She studied at Union Seminary and Taylor University, earning a BA in Music, and later joined Campus Crusade for Christ. After marrying Frank in 1963, they launched Campus Crusade in the Philippines. Upon returning to the U.S.,
Rosie used her musical talents in ministry while serving in leadership roles. In 2007, she co-founded Little Feet and Friends preschools in the Philippines, focusing on outreach to children and families. Rosie has three adult children and four grandchildren.
Ren Sabio
President, Little Feet and Friends Foundation
Ren is the lead pastor of New Hope Community Church in Temecula, CA, and president of World Ministries. Despite holding a law degree and a Master’s in Formational Leadership, his true passion lies in transforming the lives of disadvantaged families.
Ren earned degrees in Business Administration and Pastoral Ministry and is dedicated to uplifting communities in the Philippines through local church leadership. He launched the Tuguegarao Center for Pastoral Leadership in 2018, with plans to expand across the Philippines.
Ren also champions the Little Feet and Friends preschool initiative, promoting early education and parental guidance. Ren and his wife, Leah, have five adult sons, all pastors, and twelve grandchildren, with hopes for more.
Larry O'Nan
Chairman of the Board, Little Feet and Friends
Larry, a 1966 University of Colorado graduate with a degree in Education, chose to apply his leadership skills at Campus Crusade for Christ, serving in various roles until 1984. He then became Vice President of Steward Strategies with Management Development Associates, focusing on coaching nonprofit leaders in fundraising. Over his 40-year career, Larry helped raise over $250 million, training leaders from over 50 countries.
He remains active in nonprofit board governance, chairing five boards, and continues consulting in governance and fundraising.
Larry is also the author of Intentional Living and Giving and the The Adventures of Andy Ant children’s book series. He lives in California with his family, including six grandchildren.
Gregg Breed
A.R.M. (Associate in Risk Management)
Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, Little Feet and Friends
Gregg became a Christian at age 12 and later felt a strong call to ministry while studying Business Education at Montana State University. In 1974, he joined Campus Crusade for Christ, where he served in various finance roles, including Risk Manager and Pension Plan Administrator.
Gregg managed a $1.7M fire claim and implemented new cash management and retirement plans for the organization. After 12 years, he transitioned to roles in government, nonprofit, and business sectors, sharing his expertise by teaching at universities like Cal Baptist and UC Riverside, where he was named “Outstanding Instructor.”
Gregg currently serves on two nonprofit boards. He’s been married for 49 years, with three children and seven grandchildren.
CAESAR REX S. TABEROS, DPA
Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Little Feet & Friends Foundation Philippine
Caesar Rex, a seasoned leader and scholar, holds multiple degrees, including a Doctorate in Public Administration, and has a distinguished career in teaching and public service. He’s a key figure in Bible college education, a Master Teacher in global ministries, and an affiliate staff with Campus Crusade for Christ Philippines.
Caesar Rex also serves as a Commander (LtCol) in the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary. He’s the author of Foundational Values and Transformational Values, and has led PCEP Global Publications as CEO. Caesar Rex resides in Cebu City with his wife, Maribel, and their two daughters.
Danilo Navarro Muego. BTh, BSC, MDiv
Executive Field Director for the Luzon, Region #1
Danny accepted Christ in 1969 while studying Economics at the Philippine College of Commerce. He later earned a Bachelor in Theology and a Master’s degree. Danny has served as a pastor at various churches in the Philippines and Hong Kong and has planted churches across several provinces.
Danny was the Regional Director of Philippine Baptist Theological Education by Extension (PhilBEST) and has been involved in missions training in Southeast Asia, Canada, and the U.S.
An accomplished translator and author, Danny wrote several evangelism and discipleship tracts, including The Greatest Love of All and The Riches of Christian Giving.
Verginia B. Muego. BRE, BSE
Director of Education, Little Feet and Friends
Vergie became a Christian through Campus Crusade for Christ in 1968. She holds degrees in Religious Education and Education, with further training in Linguistics and Early Childhood Education. A licensed teacher, Vergie has taught at several high schools in the Philippines and served as an administrative assistant at International Baptist Church in Hong Kong for 10 years.
Since 2008, Vergie and her husband, Danny, have been instrumental in launching Little Feet and Friends preschools. They also help lead Naimbag a Damag Baptist Church in Candon City. Vergie and Danny are blessed with two adult children and four grandchildren
Nick Tumaliuan
Little Feet and Friends Director in Region 2
Nick oversees schools in Agguggaddan and Bugatay, Penablanca. With 33 years of government service, Nick is also the Head of Property Valuation for the Pag-IBIG Fund in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
A former civil engineer, real estate broker, and appraiser, Nick brings a wealth of experience to his roles. He also serves as the Overseer of Christ Commission Fellowship (CCF) in Tuguegarao, where he and his wife, Lalaine, are active in discipleship and worship ministries. They are blessed with three adult children and three grandchildren.
